FOOD VENDOR RULES AND REGULATIONS Sunday, April 25, 2010 11 AM to 6 PM In Forest Park on the Muny Grounds PLEASE READ FOOD VENDOR RULES AND REGULATIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION.
St. Louis Earth day requires food vendors to offer products that are in keeping with the environmental spirit and mission of Earth Day. Please see food restriction information below. Rather than raising Food Vendor fees, Food Vendors are required to pay out (in addition to booth fee) 10% of event gross sales to St. Louis Earth Day at the close of the festival. New this year, if you do not want to total your sales at close, you can pay a $200 at the close of the event. 1. Festival is held rain or shine. VENDOR FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. 2. Food Vendor registration is open to non-profit and for-profit companies selling food and beverages. 3. Food Vendors MUST submit a finalized menu for approval before registration is complete. 4. 6. Food permits are required and will be verified on-site by the City of St. Louis Health Dept.
7. Environment responsibility is expected by reducing and recycling festival waste:
o Earth Day Vendor discounts available!! 8. Food Vendors are required to take $5 volunteer meal vouchers. Vendors can redeem vouchers at the close of the festival. 9. Food Vendor slots consist of a 10'x10' space:
10. Food Vendors are responsible for their booths and all items in it. 11. Food Vendor booths must be ready to open by 11AM and remain open until 6PM. 12. Smoking is NOT permitted in Food Vendor booths. 13. Vendors are responsible for paying sales tax in compliance with local and state tax law. 14. All vendors who operate within the City of St. Louis are required to have a business license on file. This includes those who work from home and side-line businesses. Contact the License Collector's Office: 622-4528. 15. In order to obtain an Event License Waiver, Vendors must complete and submit the License Collector's form (see Vendor Resources). 16. Food Vendors must comply with the rules and regulations of Forest Park and the City of St. Louis.
