Our Mission: St. Louis Earth Day makes every day earth day, cultivating environmental stewardship and engaging individuals, governments, businesses, schools and the non-profit sector in celebration, education and action to support a healthy and sustainable future.

A year-round organization, we improve the environmental quality of the region by providing expertise and resources through the following programs:

Recycling On the Go
St. Louis Earth Day’s Recycling On the Go is the region’s first wide-scale event greening program. Click HERE for a program overview or visit one of the three links below for specific information.

Addresses the negative environmental impact of large festivals and events by diverting waste that would have ended up in area landfills by offering a full array of Materials Management strategies to green all event aspects.

Do-It-Yourself Event Recycling

Provides non-profit organizations and individuals holding private celebrations the opportunity to recycle by using our loaned bins. This program empowers people to implement positive environmental action without having to invest in the costly recycling bins.

Corporate Event Greening

Provides the business community with a full-service event greening program that applies the Recycling On the Go model while tailoring the approach to meet corporate goals.
 

St. Louis Earth Day Green Restaurant Program
In the pilot stage, this program is designed for restaurant owners and managers who are interested in greening their restaurants. For information on our program, click HERE.

St. Louis Earth Day Green Business Program
Through partnership with area businesses large and small, St. Louis Earth Day staff offers consultation on how to make office operations, products, and services more environmentally responsible. We also support local businesses through our partnership with BUILD St. Louis. 

As a small, but effective non-profit organization, we maximize our impact by acting as an educational catalyst, forming strategic alliances and providing credible environmental information to the region.
