ST. LOUIS EARTH DAY FESTIVAL

VENDOR/EXHIBITOR RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

1. Festival held rain or shine. VENDOR FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

2. Registration is open to non-profit organizations and for-profit companies that have a product or service to sell or promote.

3. St. Louis Earth Day reserves the right not to accept vendors that are incompatible with our mission. A full refund will be issued if registration is not accepted.

4. Vendor slot consists of a 10 x 10 space:

  • One 8-foot table and one chair are provided.
  • You may rent a durable, anchored 10x10 tent for an additional fee.
  • Tents are encouraged, but not required.

5. St. Louis Earth Day requires ALL booth tables to be covered. Vendor must provide table covering.

6. All vendor activities must be confined to allotted space. Contiguous slots are available for an additional fee.

7. ALL TENTS MUST BE SECURED FOR SAFETY REASONS

  • ABSOLUTELY NO STAKING IN THE GROUND (to prevent damage to in-ground sprinkler systems)
  • Acceptable: Sand bags, cinder blocks or water ballast, all must be TIED to tent structure.
  • Tents WILL BE inspected and violators must adjust or take down their tents, no exceptions.
  • Violators will be cited. If damaged is caused, a repair fee will be accessed by the City of St. Louis.

8. Tents are not allowed in the covered walkway.

9. Each vendor is responsible for his/her booth and all items in it.

10. Booths must be ready to open by 11 AM and remain open until 6 PM.

11. Food items/beverages CAN NOT be sold or given away by a non-food vendor unless granted permission by    St. Louis Earth Day.

12. Vendors MAY NOT give away plastic bags with purchases.

13. Vendor recycling is expected; containers will be provided.

14. Smoking is not permitted in vendor booths.

15. Vendors are responsible for paying sales tax in compliance with local and state tax law.

16. All vendors who operate within the City of St. Louis are required to have business license on file. This includes those who work from home and side-line businesses. Contact the License Collector's Office: 622-4528.

17. Everyone - vendors, exhibitors,not-for-profit, independents, etc - is required to obtain a License Waiver specific to the Earth Day Festival for doing business at the Festival on the 25th. For an explanation, CLICK HERE

18. Vendors must comply with the rules & regulations of Forest Park and the City of St. Louis.
