The St. Louis Earth Day Festival began over 20 years ago as a community-oriented, grassroots effort. In the spirit of this tradition, we invite all community members and stakeholders to the table for the planning process and we seek volunteers to help making the Earth Day event run smoothly. Here are some ways for YOU to get involved! Volunteer Opportunities - Learn about the volunteer positions available for the 2010 Festival! Volunteer Groups - We welcome groups large and small for community service at the Earth Day Festival! Sign up your company, student, or other community service group HERE.
Volunteer with our Partners who are helping at the Earth Day Festival: Celebrate Earth Day this year by doing your part to keep Forest Park clean! In conjunction with the St. Louis Earth Day Festival, The Open Space Council is conducting an annual Forest Park Operation Wild Lands: Trash Pick Up. Meet at the lower MUNY parking lot at 9:00AM. Supplies and refreshments will be provided. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Community Engagement Sessions
These sessions are
designed to bring many stakeholders to the table for networking,
Q&A, idea
sharing/generating, and planning. Meetings are free and open to the
public.
