Are you holding a small community or private event but don’t have recycling bins? No worries!

As part of our Recycling On the Go program, community organizations and individuals have the opportunity to use our recycling bins by participating in our Do-It-Yourself event recycling loan program.

It’s easy…

  1. Submit your event details in a Service Request Form.
  2. Agree to loan terms and conditions (see below).
  3. Confirm loan with the ROG Events Manager. (We’ll call you!)
  4. Review and sign a loan agreement.
  5. Submit rental fee and deposit check.
  6. Pick up your bins from our South City office. (Or select delivery/pick up a la carte for $80.)
  7. Set up bins at your event, matching each recycling bin with a trash can.
  8. Collect bags of recyclables and empty them into a nearby recycling dumpster.
  9. Return bins to our office.
  10. Fill out a Post Event Survey to describe the collection and provide data about amounts of recycling collected and number of attendees. We use this information in our reporting to our grant funders who help to keep costs affordable.

  • Track the volume of recycling collected and submit the information to St. Louis Earth Day within 48 hours.
  • Return all materials in the condition they were loaned by the agreed upon date.
